YK Osiris Will Not Face Any Charges For Alleged Assault of Girlfriend
Fulton County (Atlanta) has decided not to charge and prosecute Def Jam artist, YK Osiris. According to reports, the 21-year-old was facing charges of aggravated assault by strangulation. On September 2019, YK Osiris’s former girlfriend called the Atlanta Police Department after the artist allegedly attacked her during his birthday party. YK Osiris was arrested on November 4, 2019 and was initially denied bond. He was released on a $150,000 bond a week later.

The alleged attack occurred after Osiris was confronted about photos of other women in his phone. The former girlfriend told police that the rapper/singer chased her upstairs leading to a bathroom where he choked her and bit her face. Local authorities stated that the alleged victim had noticeable marks under her left eye.
Osiris “YK Osiris” Williams is known for his R&B smash hits “Fake Love”, “Worth it”, and “Valentine”. The news of his arrest came shortly after his debut album The Golden Child was released. Osiris never spoke about the alleged attack but he did celebrate his release from jail on Instagram Live by singing Akon’s “Locked Up”.
