T-Pain Reveals His Future Collabs As He Rants About His ‘Crazy Workload’: This Is Exactly Why I Disappeared The First Time

Earlier this year, T-Pain revealed he discovered hundreds of unread DMs from fellow celebrities.

Now, it looks like he’s working with some of them, but it seems to be slowing things down for his own career.
On Tuesday (Aug. 17), T-Pain took to Twitter to show the world just how much work he has ahead. As he began his 10-part Twitter thread, the musician explained that he will be working with Murda Beats, Yung Bleu, Kelly Rowland, and Ty Dolla Sign just to name a few.
He wrote,
“I wanna start this thread off by saying I’m definitely not complaining about this but I don’t think we know what kind of pressure we put on others. This isn’t for the fans.”
“I literally can’t keep up with the ppl that aren’t on this list that hit me everyday to add work to my crazy work load.”

He appeared to reference the “situation” where he discovered his unread tweets and added,
“So! This is the list of features I actually HAVENT done yet that I’ve gotten since the whole “situation” a while back and I’ve promised to deliver. This is just features that I actually WANT to do. I’ve talked to these ppl personally and accepted the job.”
“If you ask me for a feature at this point, just know that this list is in the order that the requests were received so there’s no way to get to the top of the list.”“I still have MY career #NappyBoyRadioPodcast @NappyBoyEnt #NappyBoyDrifting @NappyBoyGaming #NappyBoyFilms and my own team and artists @omgitspiao @ChayoNash that I have in my hands and I’m a very hands on person so I’m all over the place with my s***.”

T-Pain stated that he has put his own album on the back burner because he wanted to make everyone happy, writing:
“I Love y’all but Gaaaaaaaahd*******mn I’ve pushed my own album back 3 times because I’m making sure everybody else is good. I’m gettin to it I swear. New deals comin in everyday, new DMs everyday. New screenshots from my homies saying their homies want hooks.”
“I wish I could make everybody happy but this is exactly why I disappeared the first time. I just need to take my time and I promise you’ll get what you asked for.”
“I know I make this s*** look easy but I can’t just come off a set filming a movie or a commercial and sit down in front of the studio and just blurt out random words like most n***as do you and your features.”
“I actually give a f*** about your records and in order for me to feel like I’m leaving quality s*** behind for when I’m gone I gotta take my time.”

He ended with,
“If you read this far thank you. Take care of yourselves out there.”

Many fans fell in love with T-Pain when he arrived on the music scene in 2004. His first single, “I’m Sprung”, was an instant hit. The self-proclaimed “rapper turned singer” followed up with classic hits like “I’m In Luv (With A Strippa)”, “Buy U a Drank”, and “Can’t Believe It”. T-Pain went on to win two Grammys and has worked with other artists like Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, and Kanye West. With almost a decade of accomplishments, it appears that T-Pain is still one of the few musicians many artists seek to work with.
