Letitia Wright Spotted Filming For New ‘Black Panther’ Movie After Rumors She Was Fired For Anti-Vaccination Controversy
Despite rumors that she wouldn’t return due to an anti-vax controversy, Letitia Wright was recently spotted filming for the ‘Black Panther’ sequel. Late last year Letitia Wright was accused of being an anti-vaxxer when she shared a few tweets seemingly questioning the legitimacy of the COVID vaccine. The Guyanese-British actress also uploaded a now-removed Youtube video to her Twitter account of a man sharing his opinion on why people should not take the COVID-19 vaccination shot.

Following the backlash she received, Letitia Wright apologized and explained why she shared the video. She tweeted,
“my intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies. Nothing else.”

After her controversial tweets, some speculated that Letitia Wright wasn’t going to be a part of the sequel for the hit Marvel film. Those rumors were heightened when it was announced last month that Michaela Coel joined the cast.

However, it seems that Letitia Wright’s controversial tweets didn’t get her booted from the Marvel family. Pictures were leaked online from this past weekend of the 27-year-old actress filming for the upcoming film alongside Danai Gurira. The two ladies were spotted in full costume on MIT’s campus in Cambridge, MA as they talked in-between scenes.
