Omar Epps & Michael Ealy Will Star And Executive Produce In New Thriller Movie
A new movie is on the way from acting giants, Omar Epps, 48, and Michael Ealy.
The two stars are set to star and executively produce in the new thriller, The Devil You Know, written by Charles Murray for Lionsgate and Command Films.
The Devil You Know will follow Marcus Cowans, played by Power Book III: Raising Kanan star Omar Epps, who after a lifetime of trouble, begins to turn things around due to the love and support of his family.

While trying to save his brother, who was involved in a home invasion, Epps character will find himself in the crosshairs of a cop, played by Micahel Ealy, 48, star of Stumptown, who is determined to find the truth.

The partnership with Lionsgate and Command Films comes after both companies have sought out ways to focus on and amplifying black content.
While discussing his upcoming film, Epps said,
“The Devil You Know is an exploration of family, morality, and brotherhood. It challenges generational and cultural conditioning in an authentic way that leads back to protecting one’s humanity, I’m excited for audiences to experience this film for years to come.”
Michael Ealy added,
“For me it always starts with what’s on the page. I’ve been positioning myself to work behind the camera so when Charles and I were discussing another project, he sent me this script. My connection to this family was immediate and I was intrigued, espeically because I didn’t come from a big family. I wanted to be involved and after a few deeper conversations, it was apparent that my interest went beyond being in front of the camera. Thankfully Charles agreed.”
At this time, there is no release date for The Devil You Know but producers say they are ‘thrilled’ for audiences everywhere to see it.
