Rapper & Reggaeton Star Dan Sur Has Gold Chains Surgically Implanted Into His Scalp: This Is My Hair
Dan Sur has shocked many with his recent surgery!
Rapper and reggaeton star Dan Sur recently caught the attention of various outlets. Earlier this year, Dan Sur underwent surgery to have gold chains implanted into his scalp. Resultingly, the Mexico-based artist appears to have gold chains as his “hair.”
Judging from his Instagram uploads, Dan Sur underwent the surgery in early April.
Here’s what he looked like before he had the gold chains implanted:
Dan Sur is active on TikTok, and he has done a variety of Q&A’s discussing the procedure in Spanish. In one TikTok, Dan Sur reportedly addressed how he had the chains surgically implanted. He reportedly stated:
“I have it as a hook that is implanted in my head and that hook has hooks and they are all hooked in my skull, under my skin.”
In another TikTok, Dan Sur also revealed he was the first “in human history” to undergo such a procedure:
“This is my hair. Golden hair. The first rapper to have gold hair implanted in human history.”
It is also worth noting that some people are comparing the rapper/ reggaeton star’s surgery to Lil Uzi Vert‘s $24 million diamond implant. As you may recall, Lil Uzi Vert implanted a $24 million pink diamond into his forehead earlier this year.
However, Lil Uzi Vert ultimately had it removed in June. Notably, after later re-implanting it for a performance, a fan ended up ripping the diamond out of his forehead while the rapper was stagediving. He recently revealed:
“I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped into the crowd and they kind of ripped [the diamond implant] out. I’m feeling good. I still have the diamond so I feel good.”
