Garcelle Beauvais Says Ari Fletcher Gifting Boyfriend MoneyBagg Yo 28 Acres Of Land For His Birthday ‘Is Acting Married’
‘Should there be limits on gifts when you are not married?’
Well according to Garcelle Beauvais, there are just some things you shouldn’t do until you are married.
On a new episode of The Real, host Garcelle Beauvais shared her feelings on social media influencer Ari Fletcher gifting her boyfriend, rapper MoneyBagg Yo, 28 acres of land for his 30th birthday.
On the couple Beauvais said,
“Last year, last season, Loni and I were talking about don’t act married if you aren’t married. This is acting married.”
She continued,
“That’s a huge gift to give someone you’re not even dating, I mean you’re not even married to. I like if a man gave me 28 whatever acres, I will feel obligated to stay with them if it didn’t work.”
When her co-host Adrienne Houghton asked if she would accept the gift, Garcelle Beauvais added,
“Would I accept it, no, but that’s what I am saying, I would feel guilty.”
She continued,
“To be honest, I don’t know. I would probably accept it but I think I would be feel obligated to stay with you because it’s such a big gift.”
Both Ari Fletcher and MoneyBagg Yo took to Twitter to respond to Garcelle Beauvais comments. In one tweet Fletcher said,
“Y’all mad at jewlery and care but generational wealth is taking it too far…people will always have something to say no matter what.”
She added,
“Y’all dont know the half of what he does for me mentally or finacially. I’ve never felt so safe, loved, spoiled, and happy with a person. He loves me and my son so much. I’m sorry you haven’t expereinced a love like this. Focus on getting your own land and your husband.”
Meanwhile MoneyBagg retweeted Ari’s comments telling critics to mind their business before calling Garcelle by her infamous Jamie Foxx Show character, saying,
“Not Fancy hating on my gift.”
