Candiace Dillard Says She’s ‘The Most Hated Housewife In Modern History’ As She Addresses ‘RHOP’ Hate

Candiace Dillard has faced plenty of scrutiny during her time on RHOP, but is she the most hated Housewife of our time?

She says yes!

Candiace Dillard, who joined the Bravo show in its third season, confronted criticism she received after a salad-throwing altercation with newbie Mia Thornton.

After the episode aired Sunday (Oct. 3), many viewers pointed out that this isn’t the first physical incident Candiace Dillard has experienced. Last season, former co-star Monique Samuels pulled her hair and punched her during a heated exchange.

Shortly after, Candiace Dillard took to Twitter to respond to the backlash.

She first reacted to a fan who asked if she “forgot” about her altercation with Monique Samuels. She wrote,

“No, Sara. Obvi, you did.”

She later referenced her new album DEEPSPACE and added,

“Listen Linda. The violent, angry, sick responses that you all have to what you watch on 43 mins of a reality television show says much more about your character than it will ever say about me. Stream #DEEPSPACE & seek counseling. #RHOP is not your punching bag & neither am I.”

She responded to a now-deleted tweet from Lil Nas X, who has faced criticism of his own, and referred to herself as “the most hated housewife in modern history.”

She followed up by teasing a scathing email she received amid the backlash.

She later shared a screenshot of the profanity-laced message.
