DaBaby Announces Upcoming Tour Presented By Rolling Loud Following Controversial HIV Comments He Made At The Music Festival
It looks like there was no love lost between DaBaby and Rolling Loud following controversial statements the rapper made about HIV at the famed music festival this past summer. DaBaby, born Jonathan Kirk, recently announced via his Instagram that he’s teamed up with Rolling Loud Music Festival and is going on tour. The domestic tour will kick off in Chicago on Nov. 26th and will end in Los Angeles on Feb. 6th.
He captioned his tour announcement post,
“The show you thought you’d never see again [fire emoji]. Rolling Loud Presents [Dababy] Live Show Killa Tour”
He continued and shared with fans that presale tickets will be available on Nov. 4th, and tickets will officially go on sale the following day (Nov. 5th).

As previously reported, on July 25th, DaBaby, 29, made headlines for controversial statements he made regarding HIV during his Rolling Loud performance. While on stage he said,
“If you didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that will make you die in 2 [or] 3 weeks put a cellphone light in the air.”
He added,
“Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d*ck in the parking lot put ya cellphone light in the air.”
“Keep it f*cking real!”
Following his questionable comments, many people, including popular musical artists Elton John, 74, and Madonna, 63, called out the ‘Pick Up’ rapper.

DaBaby was also dropped from multiple music festivals and his clothing line with BoohooMAN was pulled. Initially, DaBaby seemed to stand his ground on what was said and took to his IG stories in an attempt to clarify his comments.
On Aug. 2nd, after his response video seemingly made things worse, he offered an apology via his Instagram page to the LGBTQ+ community.

However, after only a few days of having the apology post on his IG page, he removed it. To date, the apology post hasn’t been added back to his account.
