Wendy Williams Spotted Using Wheelchair Amid Health Issues & Medical Hiatus From Famed Talk Show
Wendy Williams may be away from her talk show for a little bit longer as she works on fixing her ailing health.
Wendy Williams, 57, was recently spotted in a wheelchair in New York City. Yesterday (Nov. 3) pictures were taken of Wendy Williams being wheeled from her Manhattan home into a black SUV. In the images, Wendy is wearing a camel-colored coat paired with black pants, Nike blazer sneakers, a large white purse, dark shades, and a black face mask. The individual assisting her seems to be a huge help as he guides the famous TV personality from the wheelchair into the vehicle.
This isn’t the first time that Wendy has been spotted using a wheelchair recently. This past September she was seen getting wheeled around by an assistant while running errands with her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., by her side.
As previously reported, ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ was set to return for season 13 on Sept. 20. However, due to Wendy’s ongoing medical issues, the series’ return was ultimately delayed until Oct. 18. Even though the popular talk show is back, Wendy has yet to return to her hosting duties. Instead, Wendy’s celebrity friends have been acting as guest hosts to help out in her absence.
It was recently announced that Michael Rapaport, Bill Bellamy, Jerry Springer, and Steve Wilkos will be filling in for Wendy for the rest of November.
The official Instagram account for ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ shared,
“The Wendy Williams Show is excited to announce that actor and comedian and good friend to the show, @michaelrapaport, will be guest hosting the week of November 8th.
The following week kicks off with an all-new hot talk panel on Monday, November 15th. Then, actor and comedian @BillBellamy will take the reins on Tuesday, November 16th and Wednesday, November 17th. Later that week, legendary talk show host @judgejerrytv and fellow daytime host @thestevewilkosshow will be filling in on Thursday, November 18th and Friday, November 19th.”
