Garcelle Beauvais Has COVID [VIDEO]
Garcelle Beauvais Announces That She’s Tested Positive For COVID-19
Garcelle Beauvais shared some scary news this afternoon.
Actress Garcelle Beauvais took to social media to announce that she tested positive for COVID-19. Luckily, her 14-year-old twin sons Jaid and Jax Nilon have tested negative so far. In the video, she shared:
“Hey guys! Happy Monday. Well, I hope it’s a good Monday for you. I found out that I tested positive for COVID. I feel okay, I’m sure I will continue to feel okay. My boys are being tested, so far they’ve tested negative, and we’re gonna continue testing them.”
She continued:
“Um…send movie or TV recommendations, cause I will be quarantining for the next few days! Well, not few…probably ten.”
She added:
“This stuff is crazy, be careful out there, be safe. And, also, who knows, I may show up on ‘Girl Chat’ via Zoom on The Real. I’m gonna miss the girls. Alright, take care you guys, be safe!”
The former Jamie Foxx Show heroine mentioned that she’s vaccinated and not experiencing any symptoms in her video caption.
Garcelle–who’s starred in numerous projects since the ’80s, including music videos–recently joined the cast of The Real as a host. Appearing alongside ex-3LW member Adrienne Bailon, comedienne Loni Love, and TV personality Jeannie Mai, Garcelle has taken Amanda Seales’ seat.
Amanda Seales replaced singer Tamar Braxton, who exited the daytime talk show in 2016. Tamera Mowry-Housley would later depart from the panel, leaving another extra slot to fill.
In 2020, Garcelle became the first black cast member to be featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she was added to its tenth season. She’s currently a part of the main cast.
