Ray J Calls Out Racism In The Corporate World: All Y’all Racist MF’s, I’m Coming For You Right Now!
Ray J is at the end of his rope with the injustice in the business world.
Entertainer and entrepreneur Ray J voiced his frustrations with racism in the corporate world yesterday (Dec. 21). He posted an Instagram video to speak out and demand change. In the video, he said:
“Listen…I barely do this, but I think in 2022–and even at the end of ’21—it’s time. When there’s $300-$400 million on the table, and you’re on the side of a company that you founded and that you put your soul behind. Listen, man…racism…racism?”
He continued:
“It’s not allowed here. It’s not allowed anywhere. You want to know why? Because it’s wrong. You can’t tell me that you’re a dictator, and that we gotta do what you say do, asking me, ‘do I know what dictatorship means.’ I think that’s extremely racist. There’s a lot of other things that’s going on that I think can be worked out. But certain people gotta go. Certain people can’t feel like they’re allowed to be racist and it’s okay. Even if you’re in another country, you can’t be racist over there to us over there. It’s not like that.”
He added:
“It’s 2021, it’s 2022. I got a voice. I’m bout to use my voice, and I want to get to the bottom of this so we can keep soaring in the sky and keep being successful. But we gotta cut the racist fat. We gotta cut the fat, the negative fat that’s infecting us in this company. We’re gonna cut the fat. All y’all racist MF’s, I’m coming for you right now. Don’t think you can play with me, don’t think you can talk to me any old kind of way. It doesn’t work like that, bro. Okay? So, let’s get started. All y’all young entrepreneurs out there that’s going through something like this, tap in.”
The Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood star has come a long way since his older sister, ’90s it-girl Brandy Norwood, was parading him around Hollywood as her little brother. Ray J is the founder of an electronics company called Raytroniks, which produces electronic bikes, smartphone fans, and smartwatches. More recently, he created Raycon Inc., an electronics brand that sells Bluetooth earbuds and headphones.
