Yesterday (Dec. 28) Nicki Minaj, 39, revealed via her Instagram stories that she’s working on a new project with famed film director Deon Taylor, 45, and other heavy hitters within the entertainment industry. The ‘Tusa’ rapper shared an image of herself posing with Deon Taylor, businessman Robert Frederick Smith, 59, producer Roxanne Avent, 45, and Brian Sher, who is Quality Control’s President of Quality Films. Nicki Minaj captioned the exciting post,
“Deon Taylor, you think they ready?”

Deon Taylor shared the picture on his IG page as well. He captioned his post,
“Wait [2 fire emojis] Everything just Got different !! @nickiminaj @robertfredericksmith @roxanneavent @briansher18 wait till I tell you….. I’m gone [eye emoji] [5 fire emojis]”

It’s unclear what Nicki Minaj is working on exactly, but she definitely has some talented people by her side. Deon Taylor is responsible for directing many well-known films including ‘The Intruder’, ‘Meet The Blacks’, and ‘Chain Letter.’ Roxanne Avent has worked with Deon Taylor before and was a producer for ‘The Intruder’ and an executive producer for ‘Chain Letter.’
