Nene Leakes Shares Video Of Son & New Man Interacting + Remembers Late Husband Gregg Leakes [VIDEO]

It’s safe to say that Nene Leakes’ son Brentt Leakes approves of his mothers’ moving on from his late father, Gregg Leakes.

It is no secret that the widowed reality star, Nene Leakes, 54, has recently moved on from her late husband with Atlanta fashion designer Nyonisela Sioh, whom she began dating 3 months after the death of her late husband.

Nene and Gregg Leakes married since 1997. The two had a short-lived divorce in 2011, but rekindled their love in 2013 when they decided to remarry. The two remained together, with Gregg’s fluctuating health straining the last few years of their marriage. In 2018, Gregg was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, which he had reportedly gotten rid of in 2019, as seen on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, in June of 2021, it was announced that his colon cancer had returned, 3-years later, inevitably causing his death on September 1st, 2021.

Leakes received criticism from outsiders over her dating so close to her late husband’s death. However, it seems as if Gregg and Nene’s son, Brentt Leakes, 22, is all for his mother getting back out into the dating scene again. In a series of recent Instagram stories posted by Nene, Brentt is seen getting a suit tailored by Sioh as Nene is heard in the background saying:

She is also pictured with family members, including Gregg’s children which he had previously to marrying Nene, with the accumulated captions:

The photos were taken in, what seems to be, an event catering to the life of Gregg Leakes. These posts are further evidence that, though the reality star has found a new lover, the love that she has for her late husband has not been lost.
