Jay Ellis Tells Fans What It Would Take For Him To Hook Up With Insecure’s Male Stars
Insecure actor Wendell Ramone “Jay” Ellis Jr, 40, recently shook the internet with a wild and unprovoked confession.
The actor recently posted a TikTok where he explained the number of shots that it would take to for him hook up with the female version of the other male actors of the recently ended show Insecure. In the now-deleted video, Ellis appears to have used a photo editing app to turn his male co-stars into female versions of themselves.
“Alright y’all, if I was single. This is how many shots it would take for me to hook up with my mensicure, insecure co-stars as women”

The video begins with him reviewing Kendrick Sampson, 33, who played Nathan Campbell on the show.

The actor commented
“D*mn Kendrick, you bad. zero shots. Just the eyes, just look at me one time, that’s it”
Secondly, the actor reviewed Y’lan Noel, 33, who played Daniel King on the show.

“Im [going to] need two shots for Y’lan. Yeah, I mean, the lips are full. You cute, but two shots.”
Jay Ellis then went to Sarunas J. Jackson, 31, who played Alejandro “Dro” Peña.

“Okay Sarunas, I see you with the wavy way. I’m [going to] go with one shot.”
The actor then rated Jean Elie, 34, who played Ahmal Dee in the hit series.

“Jean could get it. Jean, I think you only need one shot. I think so.”
Next, was Leonard Robinson, who played Taurean Jackson.

“A little square-jawed, but still cute though, so I’m [going to] go with one shot. Maybe a shot in a half.”
Lastly, Ellis rated Alexander “Asian Bae” Hodge, known as Andrew on the show

“I knew it, zero shots. He’s hot as a girl too.”
The video was met with mixed reviews as some fans either pointed out the colorist implications in his ratings, or simply questioned his sexuality for doing such a video in the first place. See some reactions below.

Jay Ellis has yet to publicly respond on the matter.
