It seems Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa have been over for much longer than we knew.

Lisa Bonet, 54, and Jason Momoa, 42, have recently announced to their fans that they have decided to end their 17-year long relationship. The announcement of the couple ending their 5-year marriage came as a surprise to fans, who have always gushed over the couple’s seemingly impenetrable bond. (read more on The Jasmine Brand.)

However, sources say that Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa began living separately months before the breakup was announced. In fact, the two haven’t been seen together in quite a while, with their last public appearance being at the Tom Ford AW20 Show, which was held in February 2020.

The news of their break up also makes sense when thinking back to the premiere of Dunes. The blockbuster movie, which starred Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, held a star-studded premiere, which noticeably did not include the presence of the estranged wife, Lisa Bonet.

The two seem to have an amicable separation, emphasizing their continued joint commitment to their kids, Nakoa-Wolf, 13, and Lola, 14.

There is no information on how the couple plans to co-parent the children, including who will have majority custody at this time.
