Young Thug Asks Rappers To Help Him Get Africans Out Of Ukraine Following Reports They’re Being Discriminated Against As They Attempt To Flee The Country Amid War
Young Thug wants to use his resources to get Africans, who are reportedly stranded in Ukraine, out of the country and to a safer place.
On February 24, reports broke that Russia had officially invaded Ukraine. Since then thousands of people have fled the country, and countless more leaves every day, as a battle between the two nations ensues. Unfortunately, according to reports, African immigrants living in Ukraine are facing grave discrimination and aren’t being allowed onto transportation exiting Ukraine.
Korrine Sky, a 26-year-old medical student living in Ukraine, recently shared that African students were told of a reported “Ukrainians first” policy when they tried to flee the country.
She added,
“Some people have gone to get buses, but they’re not allowing Black people basically onto the buses. They’re prioritizing Ukrainians. That’s what they say.”
Multiple videos and claims have been shared online from other black immigrants in Ukraine showing how white people have been blocking them from entering trains and buses headed to a safer place. Also how they are being wrongfully treated while waiting for entrance at the borders of surrounding nations.

It seems like Young Thug, 30, has seen the discrimination reports and is ready to do what he can to help out. Yesterday the “Solid” rapper took to his Instagram stories and shared that he wants to assist with getting Africans out of Ukraine. He continued and asked for his fellow rappers to pitch in as well.
