‘RHOP’ Stars Gizelle Bryant & Robyn Dixon Face Backlash For Saying NBA Star James Harden’s Beard “Is The Most Disgusting Thing I Have Ever Seen”

Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon are clearly not fans of James Harden’s famous beard.

The Real Housewives Of Potomac castmates recently discussed the NBA star’s well known beard on their podcast Reasonably Shady, one calling it “the most disgusting thing” she’s ever seen.

Fans were not too happy to hear 51-year-old Gizelle Bryant and 43-year-old Robyn Dixon’s insensitive comments about James Harden’s noteworthy beard. On a recent episode of their podcast, the reality tv stars joke about how disgusting they think the Sixers star’s beard is, and speculate all the unsanitary items it hides.

Following a discussion of Harden’s recent trade from the New York Nets to the Philadelphia 76er’s, one host states:

“Do the Sixers really know that’s James Harden? Because no one can see his face.”

She continues:

“Cause that beard is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.”

The Maryland residents continue to joke about Harden’s beard, claiming he’s unrecognizable because of how lengthy it is and how they believe it’s unsanitary making comments such as:

“There’s fried chicken in the beard”

“Fried chicken, grease, watermelon”

“Some blunts, the whole thing smells like weed I know it does”

Social media users quick to disavow the comments, asserting they reflect internalized racism and perpetuates harmful stereotypes against black men.

They also referenced other instances when the podcast hosts were accused of being colorist.

One user even tagged the Real Housewive franchise’s executive producer and host Andy Cohen, asking if he or the network that airs the reality stars show will make a public statement on the matter.

James Harden, Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, nor Bravo have not made any statements regarding the matter.
