Remy Ma Opens Up About Tension With Nicki Minaj, Says They Had a Conversation To No Longer Discuss Each Other Publicly: “Let’s Make An Agreement We Will Never Talk About Each Other”
During a recent appearance on “Drink Champs”, Remy Ma got candid about her career in the music industry, her years in prison, and of course, her infamous beef with rap superstar Nicki Minaj!
The “Conceited” rapper claims that she never saw the beef coming and says she and Nicki Minaj made an agreement to no longer diss each other publicly.
“I never saw that one coming. Because I felt like I had a conversation with her…I just always felt like, anything I say, people are gonna say I’m talking about her, anything she say, they gonna say she’s talking about me. So let’s make an agreement that we never talk about each other.”
Remy Ma went on to say she witnessed certain things happening behind the scenes that she wasn’t too fond of.
“It was certain s**t that transpired behind the scenes, messages that I seen that I knew weren’t fabricated…”

While it’s been almost five years since these two ladies had one of the most talked about hip-hop beefs of all time–it’s still a hot topic that comes up in conversation. The two rappers butted heads in 2017 when Remy Ma dropped “Shether.” The diss track, which was a spin on Nas’s 2001 enemy anthem, was directly aimed towards Nicki Minaj. Nicki later responded with “No Frauds.” The two battled on social media, with Remy Ma subjectively throwing the harshest jabs. Highlights from that year include Remy taunting Nicki with old explicit photos, accusing her of sabotage, and mocking her at the VMAs.
