Tory Lanez Arrested & Required To Post New Bail For Violating Protective Order In Megan Thee Stallion Case, Judge Says Singer Must Stop Tweeting About Megan

The rapper was detained recently for breaking the restraining order against him placed by Megan Thee Stallion. Tory is being held on a new bond of $350,000.
In a hearing held last Tuesday, a judge ruled Canadian rapper Tory Lanez violated the terms of his protective order. The rap artist is facing assault charges after allegedly shooting Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion in the foot back in July of 2020. Pending trial, a discovery protective order and personal contact order was put in place by a court judge. The order prohibits Tory from contacting or speaking to Megan directly or indirectly.
Last month, the 29-year-old “Daystar” artist let off a round of tweets seemingly addressing the assault case stating:
“Good d*** had me f***ing 2 best friends … and I got caught … that’s what I apologized for … it’s sick how u Spun it tho …”
According to reports, a court judge determined this tweet, among others, “seem to be clear messages” to Megan. Subsequent the ruling, and additional amendment was added to the protective order. Tory is “not to mention the complaining witness [Megan] in the case in any social media”. The rap artist was remanded immediately after the court session on a $350,000 bond.
Reports state that Tory’s legal team has already begun his bail out process. Megan and Tory are set to begin trial on September 14th.
