Jennifer Lopez Dishes About Ben Affleck’s ‘Bubble Bath’ Proposal: It Was The Most Romantic Thing I Could’ve Ever Imagined

Love is definitely in the air for newly engaged couple Jennifer “J.Lo” Lopez and Ben Affleck!

J.Lo, 52, recently revealed how Ben Affleck, 49, proposed to her for the second time. She shared,

“Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed.”

She continued,

“I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless and he said, ‘is that a yes?’ I said YES of course that’s a YES.”

She added,

“I was smiling so big and tears were coming down my face, feeling so incredibly happy and whole.”

J.Lo then shared that despite the proposal not being “fancy,” it was still perfect for her.

“It was nothing fancy at all, but it was the most romantic thing I could’ve ever imagined.”

She added,

“Just a quiet Saturday night at home, two people promising to always be there for each other. Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.”

As previously reported, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made headlines over the weekend when news surfaced that they were engaged, once again. The “Marry Me” actress broke the exciting announcement herself via her own website “On The J-Lo.” She also shared the beautiful green engagement ring Ben Affleck gave her when he popped the big question.

Lopez and Affleck sparked dating rumors last June shortly after the “On The Floor” singer called it quits with her then-fiancé Alex Rodriguez, 46. Hopefully, the second time around will be the charm for Lopez and Affleck. The pair was previously engaged in 2002, however, in 2003, a few days before they were scheduled to tie the knot, they called off their wedding.
