Amber Rose Reveals She Needs Help W/ Annual Slut Walk In Order For Event To Continue: I Need A Lot Of Sponsors, I Need A Lot Of Money To Put It On 

Amber Rose’s annual slut walk is back after three years, but will this be its last go-around?

On April 18, model/actress Amber Rose, 38, revealed via her Instagram account that she can’t continue organizing her annual slut walk by herself. She stated that she needs sponsors, money and a live production company to assist her with putting the event together. Amber Rose said,

“But, to be honest with you guys… I personally can not do slut walk by myself anymore. I just can’t. Like, I need a lot of sponsors, I need a lot of money to put it on.”

She continued,

“[I need a] huge production company. I need Live Nation, AEG, I need somebody big to really come in and help me with this, because, you know, just by myself and me and my team – over 20,000 people show up.” 

She also shared that the process of working with Live Nation was taking longer than she’d like and she hopes your IG pleas will help speed things up.  She followed with,

”It’s not where it needs to be. So, you know, we need to make sure that… If I’m doing it by myself and I have over 20,000 people show up, like it reaches capacity early.”

She added,

“I, as one person just can’t do it by myself. So, I love you guys. You know, please tag AEG tag Live Nation let’s get this sh*t done. Let’s have it in Miami this year, and let’s f*cking go crazy. I love you.”

Amber Rose launched Slut Walk in Los Angeles in 2015 to call for an end to rape culture, including victim blaming and slut shaming of sexual assault victims. People from all backgrounds have since marched the streets of LA as a movement, protesting against sexism and misogynistic behaviors. The last The Amber Rose Slut Walk occurred in 2018. The socialite canceled the event in 2019 due to her pregnancy and had to postpone the walk again the following two years because of Covid-19.
