Brandy Posts Cryptic Message On Instagram After Brother Ray J Speaks Out About Sex Tape

Brandy has the internet questioning if her latest post is related to the recent allegations her brother Ray J made against Kim Kardashian and the infamous sex tape deal. It appears his older sister Brandy is stepping behind the matter as well.

Singer and actress Brandy, 43, has social media users talking after she left a message via her Instagram account that tags her parents and brother in a message, following Ray J’s sex tape allegations. She shared a post that wrote,

“Never push a loyal person to the point where they no longer care.” 

The Mississippi-born songwriter seemingly calls out the Kardashian family amidst the family’s portrayal of Ray J leaking the sex tape instead of the deal being orchestrated. She captioned the post,

“@ me
@rayj’s #sister
he only needs one.” 

The discrete message comes shortly after Ray J made claims that the reality star kept the only copy of the sex tape and stashed it in a Nike shoebox under her bed along with the rest of the intimate videos they made. He also claims that he never possessed a copy of any of the tapes they made together and that he only has photos and texts Kim Kardashian sent him during the timeframe that they dated.

Kim Kardashian, 41 and Ray J, 41 dated between 2002 and 2009. At the time, they were both 21. As previously reported, Ray J says that the sex tape was his idea that he brought to his then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian. He also says that when Kim opened up to the idea, they brought on her mom, 66-year-old Kris Jenner and she helped seal the deal with “Vivid Entertainment,” which distributed the tape back in 2007.

According to DailyMail, Ray J told the outlet,

“I’ve sat in the shadows for over 14 years allowing the Kardashians to use my name, to abuse my name, make billions of dollars over a decade-and-a-half talking about a topic I’ve never really spoken about. I’ve never leaked anything. I have never leaked a sex tape in my life. It has never been a leak. It’s always been a deal and a partnership between Kris Jenner and Kim and me and we’ve always been partners since the beginning of this thing.”

In regards to the footage between the formal couple, he said,

“She kept them all – she had to go find that tape [Sex Tape Cabo #1] and then present it. I never had a tape in my possession in our whole relationship. I never had a single one at my house – she had them at her house. She’s always had all the tapes in a Nike shoe box under her bed. I’m sure she has bigger beds now and better boxes. That’s how it all came about. Once I pitched the idea to her, just playing around a little bit, that’s when she jumped on the idea, talked to her mom and it was out of my hands from there.”

Ray J’s claims didn’t end there. The former “Love and Hip Hop” star had enough once the Kardashians included the sex tape in a storyline for their new series “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” on Hulu. On episode 3 of the series, Kanye West, 44, is seen retrieving the sex tape from Ray J at an airport in LA. However, according to Ray J, the two had a four hour meeting discussing everything that was meant to be kept private — including how he, Kim and Kris Jenner allegedly teamed up to release the original tape.
