NBA YoungBoy’s Mother Contacts Tyler Perry For Movie Role: I Have No Acting Skills But You Should Take A Chance On Me
“Dear mr Tyler Perry’s I think you should put me in a movie I have no acting skills [or] nothing like that but you should just take a [chance] on me.”

Sherhonda Gaulden– NBA Youngboy’s mom
On Wednesday (Jun. 1) Sherhona Gaulden made another post stating that some people said she’s too “gangster” to be placed in a Tyler Perry movie. She then tagged 50 Cent in hopes he would be willing to give her a shot. She wrote,
“Ok they say I’m too gangster for Tyler Perry but I’m not stopping until I’m in a movie. @50Cent f with yo girl.”

50 Cent commented under the post and said,
“you so gangsta, this sh*t might work.”
This may be a shot in the dark, however, this isn’t the first time someone publicly asked Tyler Perry for a job! Back in 2019, a woman named Racquel Bailey rented a large billboard on a highway with a message directed to Perry. The image featured a photo of herself with a message that read,
“Attention Mr. Perry, Racquel Bailey is your next leading lady.”
The billboard also displayed the actress’s website and social media handles.
When Tyler Perry was made aware of the billboard, he shared a photo of it on Instagram with a caption telling actors not to use this strategy and that he would prefer actors to audition. He wrote,
“This is not the way to get my attention if you’re looking for a role in one of my shows. Please DON’T DO THIS, SAVE YOUR MONEY!! This is the third time that someone has done this. PLEASE STOP! To audition is FREE!!”

While Tyler Perry wasn’t too fond of Bailey’s approach, it all worked in her favor, as it was reported that she’s snagged a role in Perry’s BET series, Sistas!
No word yet if Sherhonda Gaulden is going to have the same luck as Racquel Bailey.
