The Game Recalls Seeing His First Dead Body At The Age Of 7: I’ve Seen Tons Of Murders [VIDEO]
West Coast rapper The Game didn’t have it easy growing up in Compton, California.
Currently on a press run for his new album, Jayceon Taylor, better known as The Game, recently stopped by the “Full Send Podcast” show. The Compton native recalled the time when he was 7 that he encountered death for the first time.
During the episode, which aired on June 30, the recording artist also detailed other horrifying deaths he’s witnessed as a young child. The Game recounted the time he witnessed a murder at 7 years old and told show hosts:
“It was just a drive-by shooting. Somebody got hit. They were just laid out and we were outside playing. Of course, people are always like… Some people run left, away. And other nosey a** people come towards the, you know, whatever happened. So, me and my homies was outside playing… We were throwing the football in the street… We just walked down there, and it was like so-and-so got shot.”
At one point during the sit-down, the Compton rapper explained the most gruesome death he’s ever witnessed. He added:
“The craziest one I ever seen is probably, I seen two Spanish dudes get shot in a Buick Regal.”
The Game continued:
“Two bullet holes in the back window, both dead and one of them’s eyeball was stuck… Remember how the old locks used to be, where you could pull them up? His eye was stuck in that. And I could just remember wanting to, like, lift his head up out of that. Because it was a f*ck*d-up way for people to see you, you know. I remember feeling real bad about that. But yeah man, I’ve seen tons of murders and sh*t.”
The Game is set to release his tenth studio album “Drillmatic” this month, the follow-up to his 2019 effort “Born 2 Rap.” Last week, he dropped his latest single “Violence,” produced by Hit-Boy.
