Update #1: Via her newsletter, Jennifer Lopez confirmed that she & Ben Affleck eloped in Vegas. She shared some pics & signed the announcement

The singer and actress shared,

“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient. Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”

She explained that said that she wore a “dress from an old movie”. Meanwhile, her new husband Ben wore a jacket from his closet as they read their own vows and exchanged “the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives,” adding,

“They even had Bluetooth for a (short) march down the aisle.”

J.Lo added

“Best night of our lives. Thank you to the Little White Wedding chapel for letting me use the break room to change while Ben changed in the men’s room.”

Reportedly, the newly rekindled couple are officially husband and wife after taking out a marriage license in Las Vegas, Nevada. As previously reported, Jennifer Lopez, 52, showed off her stunning green engagement ring back in April of this year, while simultaneously announcing her second engagement to boyfriend Ben Affleck, 49.

Reportedly, the celebrity couples legal names, Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez appear on the court documents. A source close to the newly weds reportedly confirmed the marriage, telling media outlets:

“They did, indeed, get hitched … and the license is a signal they are now man and wife.”

The movie stars shotgun Vegas style of eloping is certainly different from their first attempt at happy ever after. If you recall, Lopez and Affleck famously called off their 2002 wedding after a media circus allegedly caused the two to postpone their wedding date, eventually leading to a full on split.

However Lopez has frequently discussed how this time around feels different for her and her love. During a recent interview, the “Waiting For Tonight” singer gushed about her new hubby, stating:

“I feel so lucky and happy and proud to be with him….It’s a beautiful love story that we got a second chance.” 

Reports state that celebrity couple have recently been spotted out on multiple occasions house hunting, often bringing their children along. While neither have confirmed, reports also state that Jenny was spotted on the block of a Beverly Hills massive estate with 4 moving fans. Seemingly confirming they purchased the unlisted home.

Neither Lopez nor Affleck has spoken about the alleged new marriage at this time.
