Kylie Jenner Faces Backlash After Sharing A Picture Of Her & Travis Scotts’ Private Jets Amid Record-Breaking Heatwave In The U.S.

Kylie Jenner is facing major backlash after bragging about her and Travis Scott’s two private jets amid the record-breaking heatwave overtaking Western Europe and parts of the US.

On Friday (July 15), the socialite posted a black and white Instagram photo of her and boyfriend Travis Scott hugging in front of their two private jets. Kylie Jenner captioned the post:

“You wanna take mine or yours?”

According to sources, Kylie flew from Camarillo, Calif., to Van Nuys, Calif., last week (July 12) with a total flight time of only 17 minutes as opposed to a 45-minute car ride.

Social media users subsequently slammed Kylie Jenner for being a “full time climate criminal” amid the record-breaking heatwave affecting a large part of the U.S. and the ongoing climate change crisis. Many others also criticized the reality tv star for being “out of touch” amid current inflation and financial hardships many people are facing.

One social media user wrote:

“Why do I have to limit my meat consumption and use paper straws while the 1% gets to pump tons of carbon into the atmosphere for a day trip to Palm Springs?”

Another user with similar sentiments wrote:

“Rich people unapologetically showing off their contributions to climate change by using private jets to a two hours drive car ride.”

Another person said,

“As we choose between gas and meals.”
