Eddie Murphy Set To Star In And Produce Holiday Movie With Amazon Studios

Eddie Murphy is returning to the big screen for a holiday film!

Comedian and actor Eddie Murphy will be returning to a movie set to act and produce “Candy Cane Lane,” a new holiday comedy for Prime Video.

The film will be directed by Reginald Hudlin, who will be reuniting with Murphy after directed the 1992 classic romantic comedy, “Boomerang.”

The story is based on a script written by Kelly Younger and inspired by Younger’s childhood holiday experiences. Details about the specific movie plot are being kept secret.

The new movie is the first in Eddie Murphy‘s first-look deal with Amazon Studios, which was done after the success of “Coming 2 America.”

Production on the film will start this winter in Los Angeles. The film is being produced by Amazon Studios, Imagine Entertainment and Eddie Murphy Productions.
