Kodak Black Claims Recent Arrest Over Oxycodone Pills Found In His Vehicle Was ‘Character Assassination’: Ima Sue These People For Every Dollar I Gotta Spend ‘Bout This Sh*t!

Kodak Black is tired of authorities messing with his freedom.

On Tuesday (July 26) rapper Kodak Black took to Twitter to address what occurred amid his recent traffic stop arrest.  Kodak Black, born Dieuson Octave, said:

“This Sh*t bogus Af I feel like This a character assassination issue Kuz theirs no way I should be getting harassed bout my tag being expired , that’s no reason to even search my car in the first place and going to jail about having my medication in the car is insane.”

Kodak continued:

“Ima Sue these people for every dollar I gotta spend bout this shit !”

The 25-year-old shared:

“I’m being racially profiled and as a black man in America I deserve my freedom especially with everything I do for my community I should be getting love , respect and support from the authorities ! To move freely , not getting arrested for expired tag and dark windows”

The “No Flockin'” rapper added:

“This a self inflicted wound that coulda been prevented ! My people posta made sure my tags stay up and my tints Just right but @ da same time I should have a pass to drive with tints due to my status AT LEAST !!! I show all this love round here just to get slapped in the face”

As previously reported, Kodak, who changed his legal name to Bill Kahan Kapriwas detained by Florida law enforcement after he was pulled over for having illegal dark window tints and driving his Dodge Durango with an expired license and expired plates.

Authorities searched the vehicle after smelling marijuana and discovered 21 oxycodone pills and over $74,000 in cash. The rapper was arrested on first-degree felony charges. He was charged with trafficking oxycodone of fewer than 25 grams and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

Kodak was held at Broward County Jail before posting his $75,000 bond. According to court documents, Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, says the oxycodone pills that were found at the time of his arrest were prescribed to his client “battling chronic pain” since he was shot in Los Angeles during this year’s Super Bowl weekend.
