Sunny Hostin Will Continue As Co-Host On The View, Signing A Multi-Year Deal
Sunny Hostin is showing no signs of leaving ABC’s “The View” anytime soon!
Television personality and journalist Sunny Hostin has signed a multiyear, multimillion-dollar deal with ABC to continue as co-host on “The View” through Season 28.

Hostin has been a co-host on “The View” since 2016. She joined ABC News as a legal correspondent and analyst the same year, a few months before she was announced to join the longtime talk show. She has since appeared in special ABC projects, like “Soul of a Nation” and “Nightline.”
Hostin launched her own media company, Sunny Hostin Productions, last year. Her company focuses on social justice and inclusive storytelling.

Last September, fellow co-host Whoopi Goldberg signed a similar renewal deal that takes her through Season 28 as well. Joy Behar, who said in a recent book titled “Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of ‘The View’” that she would retire this year, has signed on for another three years.

Behar and Goldberg will continue to host with Sunny and Sara Haines, but a new co-host announcement is impending, and will fill Meghan McCain’s conservative seat. According to reports, “The View” is expected to cast former Trump staffer Alyssa Farah Griffin for the upcoming season.
The upcoming season of “The View,” created by Barbara Walters, will be their 26th on air, and will heavily focus on the 2022 midterms.
