Beyonce wasn’t joking when she said she’s going to remind you how she acts outside! 

On Friday night (Aug. 5) many A-list celebs linked up for Beyonce’s exclusive ‘Renaissance’ release party. The event was held at The Times Square Edition in New York City. Reportedly, guests were encouraged to think outside the box with their party attire and rock something unique and daring. 

Media personality turned actress Lala Anthony, 40, was in attendance. She wore a metallic silver bodysuit that was bedazzled with stones and jewels. She paired her look with a custom face piece and a slick long ponytail.

Rapper/actor Donald Glover, 38, didn’t hold back with his outfit either. The ‘Atlanta’ star wore a sheer full-body onesie that exposed his chest, paired with a long jacket and brown shoes. Of course, Beyonce’s parents, Tina Knowles-Lawson, 68, and Mathew Knowles, 70, were in the building as well. Tina Knowles-Lawson wore a studded black suit paired with heels and Beyonce’s dad kept things simple with a plain suit and sneakers.

Janelle Monae, 36, was photographed entering the party. The actress/singer wore a semi-opened white blazer, fishnet shorts, white sunglasses, and a black hat.

Famed musician Questlove, 51, tweeted about the star-studded event and said, 

“Don’t even know if I’m allowed to say it but I literally watched an entire club LOSE IT. Renaissance played from start to finish 3 times. It’s creator more hyped seeing the culmination of ALOT of hard work. I mean maybe I had the Low End Theory memorized by days end. But man”

He added,

“I never seen nothin like this.”

Media personality Scottie Beam also took to Twitter following the party and shared how late it went.

Singer-songwriter Jill Scott, 50, showed up to support her good friend Beyonce too! As you may already know, Beyonce named dropped Jill Scott in one of the recently released remixes for her song “Break My Soul.”
