DaBaby had an interesting new take as a video concept for his new single “Tough Skin.”
Earlier today (August 9), the “Rockstar” rapper took to his official Instagram account to tease the visual for his latest single “Tough Skin.” Born Jonathan Kirk, DaBaby, 30, released a snippet of new music along with a video that’s presumed to be dropping soon.

In the clip, DaBaby is seen nailed onto a cross like Jesus Christ, wearing a white sheet with whip lashes all across his body. At one point during the snippet, a masked individual is seen throwing a rock at the entertainer’s head. At the end of the clip, the cross appears to begin burning through DaBaby’s body. He rapped over the beat,
“N*gg*, I watched my mama have some tough skin
(N*gg*, I watched my mama have that)
It’s why I take my problems and leave ‘em tucked in
(That’s why I take my problems, yeah)
‘Cause the world don’t care nothin’ ‘bout ‘em
I don’t give a f*ck then, yeah, this that tough skin.”

According to reports, “Tough Skin” is expected to be the first single from DaBaby’s fourth studio album “Baby On Baby 2.” In the caption, the Charlotte native hinted towards his upcoming project and wrote,
“Let’s get this “Baby On Baby 2” sh*t started. THIS ONE FOR G & DOSHMEN #TOUGHSKIN
What y’all wanna do?
Tonight or tomorrow?”
