Drake Breaks The Beatles’ Record For Most Top Five Hits On Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart

Drake wasn’t lying when he said “I got more slaps than the Beatles.”

Billboard reports state that Drake has accomplished his 30th career top five hits, surpassing the Beatles for the most singles of all time. The track that put Drake ahead of the line was DJ Khaled’s “Staying Alive” featuring Lil Baby. The song insinuates the Bee Gees’ disco album which debuted at number five on this week’s Hot 100 chart.  

On Monday (Aug 15) Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham, took to Instagram to announce his new milestone. Drake captioned his picture thread:

“Ok I broke my records for the month now me and @stake need you to do your thing Bitcoin.”

Drizzy has been manifesting this accomplishment for years. Back in 2019, the “Miss You” rapper got a tattoo of himself posted in front of the four members of the English rock band walking in a line inspired by the Abbey Road album cover art. 

The 35-year-old’s run through Hot 100 history displaced he accumulated almost 31 top five hits. His first song to chart was his second single “Best I Ever Had” which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and he followed it up with “Find Your Love” in 2010. In comparison, The Beatles gained 29 Top Five singles within five years.
