Megan Thee Stallion Joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe In ‘She-Hulk’
Megan Thee Stallion is officially joining the MCU!
During a recent interview, Megan Thee Stallion, 27, confirmed that she was cast in Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Marvel’s She-Hulk, which debuted earlier this month on Disney, follows Jennifer Walters (Emmy Award winner Tatiana Maslany) after she gets infected with cousin Bruce Banner’s blood, turning her into a Hulk. However, Jen is determined to be a normal lawyer and not let her green side and superpowers take over her life.
While it’s unclear who Megan Thee Stallion will play on the half-hour comedy, earlier rumors indicated that the ‘Body’ rapper would appear as a “fictionalized version” of herself in “a number of episodes.” According to reports, Megan will also have some action scenes which required a stunt double.

During her interview, the Houston rapper spoke about how she looks up to other musicians who transitioned into acting, like Queen Latifah and Ice Cube. She explained,
“When I look at [inspirations such as Queen Latifah and Ice Cube], it inspires me to take it further than just music. I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”
Aside from joining the MCU, Megan Thee Stallion also landed a role in A24’s upcoming musical comedy ‘F–king Identical Twins.’ In July, she landed a guest spot on Starz’s hit series P-Valley where she played her rap alter ego, Tina Snow.
Her P-Valley costar J. Alphonse Nicholson emphasized that Megan has the talent needed for filmmaking.
“I think she has it in her tool bag to do anything. You could see her in a period piece, whether she’s playing someone in the 1960s trying to come up and make it, or whether she’s in a futuresque sci-fi film and she’s out here whooping ass and fighting on some Marvel stuff. I think she could bring it all to the table just because she has that glow.”

According to Megan, her ambitions even go beyond acting. She revealed,
“I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”
New episodes of She-Hulk are released Thursdays on Disney+.
