Phaedra Parks’ Inner-Circle ‘Furious’ Over Ex-Husband Apollo Nida’s Claims That The Reality Star Left Him ‘To Basically Rot’

Those who love Phaedra Parks are not here for the shade her ex-husband Apollo Nida has been throwing.

Radar Online reported that the former inmate reprised his Real Housewives of Atlanta role during the August 28 episode, and he had some pretty negative things to say about his “cold-hearted” ex-wife. As you may already know, Apollo Nida was convicted of money laundering in 2014 and spent five years in prison before being released to a halfway house in Philadelphia. He was taken back into custody just days after his release for violating his parole.

During a conversation with Shereé Whitfield on a recent episode of “RHOA,” Apollo Nida — who is now a free man — said,

“Phaedra left me to basically rot. That’s how I look at it. Because when it first happened, she wasn’t there. My sentencing, she wasn’t there. My self-surrendering, she wasn’t there.

He added,

“It was a lot of things that showed me [she] really wasn’t there for me.”

Nida also made claims that Phaedra Parks was keeping him away from their two sons, Ayden, 12, and Dylan, 9.

Well, Phaedra Parks‘ close friends are not here for the negativity Nida spewed, noting that she has done a lot for him (all things considered) and that she is an incredible mother to their children. They also said Nida‘s only claim to fame is to mention Parks.

According to an insider,

“Apollo has some nerve showing up and talking negatively about Phaedra when she’s done nothing but help him in his lifetime. Her friends are furious. … Phaedra paid every one of his legal bills and, because of his guilt, he still went to prison. He will owe her for the rest of his life.”

They added,

“The last thing [Nida] should be doing is talking negatively to anyone about her, especially since there is a legal agreement in their divorce decree that neither of them will ever speak disparagingly about one another. He doesn’t seem to be able to follow the rules even now.”

The source was also not here for Shereé Whitfield not defending Phaedra, instead responding to Nida’s claims by asking him if he wanted to model in her She by Shereé fashion show during the RHOA Season 14 finale on Sunday, September 4.

Parks and Nida finalized their divorce in 2017 after nearly eight years of marriage.
