On Tuesday (Sept. 13) Kylie Jenner, 25, took to Instagram to share a promotional video celebrating the launch of her second Kylie Cosmetics collaboration with her mother, Kris Jenner, 66. The new collection, which is set to launch today (Sept. 14) is inspired by Kris Jenner’s love for a quality martini. In the video, cosmetic mogul Kylie Jenner and ‘momager’ Kris Jenner sip martinis together before changing into all-black ensembles and hitting the dance floor.

Following the release of the marketing video, celebrity stylist Travis Terry called the mother and daughter duo for copying his strategy. Travis Terry shared the video on his social media pages and said:

“Welp. What do we have here.”

Along with multiple screenshots of fans calling out the Jenners for their ‘unoriginality,’ the IEMBE founder took to his Instagram story to share his thoughts on his work being copied. He said:

“& Y’ALL. I AIN’T EVEN MAD AT THE CONCEPT, THAT WAS MY GOAL TO GET MORE PPL ON BOARD TO DO THIS.”

The Clark Atlanta University Alum continued:

“BUT ANYBODY BUT THEM!! THEY ALWAYS STEAL FROM OUR CULTURE INSTEAD OF SUPPORTING. SICK FR”

In a follow-up post, the 23-year-old added:

“SOMEBODY CONNECT ME TO @KANYEWEST WE NEED TO TALK”

Fans reacted to the alleged accusation of Kylie ripping off Travis. Most agreed with the claim that Kylie’s family frequently takes concepts from Black culture.  However, some didn’t see any correlation between Travis and Kylie’s marketing strategies.
