As previously reported, Beyoncé released “Renaissance” to fans on July 29. Since then the album has been dominating streaming services, nightclubs, and radio stations. The Grammy-award winner has not dropped a music video for any of the album’s 16 records, however, “Break My Soul” marked Beyoncé’s 20th career top 10 single on Billboard’s Hot 100 as a solo artist. On June 30, prior to the album’s release, the 41-year-old took to Instagram to share the cover art for “Renaissance.”

In a caption, she explained her vision behind the cover art of her album. The “Crazy In Love” singer said:
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment.”
The mother of three added:
“A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”
