Cher Gushes About Her ‘Handsome’ Younger Boyfriend AE: We Get Along Great, He’s Fabulous

Cher is getting candid about her relationship with Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards!

During a recent episode of the Kelly Clarkson Show, Cher, 76,  gushed over her new relationship. While it may seem like an odd pairing to some, the pop superstar revealed that she and her man are pretty perfect for each other. She said,

“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous. But in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous. And I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.”

Describing the rapper/music exec, Cher listed off several positive characteristics that she’d use to describe AE, 36.

“He’s very kind, very smart, he’s very talented, and he’s really funny. And I think he’s quite handsome.”

Cher went on to explain her reasoning behind dating younger men, telling Kelly Clarkson that older men don’t like her the same way younger men do.

“Older men just didn’t like me all that much. Do you know what I mean? I have had a couple boyfriends that were hovering around my age, but they just didn’t like me for some reason. And maybe younger men don’t care if you’re funny or outrageous and want to do stupid things, and you have the strong personality. I’m not giving up my personality for anybody, okay?”

Cher and AE met at Paris Fashion Week this past September, however, the pair went public with their relationship in November.

Following speculation that Cher and rapper/music producer AE were dating, the “Believe” singer confirmed the rumors via Twitter. Posting a picture of AE with a heart emoji, Cher wrote:

“Alexander” 

AE, who shares three-year-old son Slash with model/media personality Amber Rose, has not yet commented publicly on the relationship with Cher. Rose and AE began dating back in 2019 but split due to AE’s serial cheating, according to Rose.

Cher was previously married to late musicians Sonny Bono and Gregg Allman, with whom she shares sons Chaz, 53, and Elijah, 46, respectively. She’s also had relationships with Warren Beatty, Val Kilmer, and Tom Cruise.
