Jay-Z Refuses To Sign A Fan’s Bootleg Record: That One Ain’t Even Real

If you want an autograph from Jay-Z make sure you’re not asking him to sign anything fake!

A fan of Jay-Z had to learn the hard way that the billionaire rapper isn’t here for dupes of his work. In a newly surfaced video currently making its rounds online, Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, is seen in New York City interacting with a group of supporters outside his Chelsea office. During the short video clip, the rapper/business mogul takes the time to autograph copies of his records for bystanders, seemingly including “The Blueprint,” “The Black Album,” “In My Lifetime Vol. 1,” and “Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter.”

With Jay-Z, 53, being a busy man, he eventually tells the growing crowd,

“Alright guys, that’s it. Two more.”

After signing one more record he abruptly pauses at the final fan and says “that one ain’t even real” before turning away to leave without blessing the individual with his John Hancock.

The fake record in question appeared to be “The Black Album Revisited,” an authorized project reportedly released by the Japanese imprint Big Ghost Ltd. It’s unclear if the fan was aware that he had a bootleg album, however, he definitely knows now!

In other Jay-Z related news, the “Empire State Of Mind” rapper is reportedly in the works of building a casino in New York’s Time Square.

Eight levels of the 54-story structure would be taken up by the envisioned casino, which is slated to be called “Caesars Palace Times Square.” Restaurants and entertainment venues would be located on the casino floors, and the structure above would be transformed into an 800-room, five-star hotel. He’s joined forces with SL Green and Caesars Entertainment in hopes of bringing his vision to life.
