Candace Owens Slams ‘No Snitching Culture’ + Calls Out The Black Community For The Scrutiny Megan Thee Stallion Has Faced Amid The Tory Lanez Shooting Trial: This Is Horrific Violence

Candace Owens is extremely disappointed in the Black community for seemingly scrutinizing Megan Thee Stallion for accusing Tory Lanez of shooting her.

In a recent episode of the “Candace Owens Podcast,” political commentator Candace Owens shed light on the unspoken rule of “no snitching culture” within the Black community and how it relates to the Tory Lanez shooting trial.

As you may know, the Canadian rapper/singer is on trial for allegedly shooting Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion in her feet in the Hollywood Hills at about 4:30 a.m. on July 12, 2020. After accusing Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, of being responsible for pulling the trigger, social media users were seemingly unsupportive of Megan Thee Stallion’s trauma, with some even accusing her of lying on the “Say It” singer.

While calling the naysayers out, Candace Owens, 33, said:

“Now I know we live in a world where violence is our words and silence is violence. This is real violence. This is real physical violence. The worst kind of violence that you can ever imagine between a man and a woman. You are talking about someone who just shot a person.”

She continued:

“So what happens next? Well there’s a lot of speculation, articles ran, people didn’t know what happened, but I’ll tell you what happened online. Megan was mocked by women and men alike, particularly in Black culture. They couldn’t believe that this situation happened, they think it’s funny maybe that she got shot in the foot and had to get surgery performed.”

Upset that Tory Lanez’s record label nor fans have canceled him, she added:

“You’re not seeing a whole bunch of people that are calling Tory Lanez out for this violence.”

The conservative author defended the “WAP” artist, born Megan Pete:

“This woman is a victim. Something happened in that car. I don’t think she shot herself in the foot and decided to go to the hospital, but it’s amazing what then transpired right because of this let’s call ‘no snitching culture.'”

She admitted:

“Let this happen to me, I am snitching, this is horrific violence.”

After the internet got a hold of Owen’s comments, many agreed with her opinion, noting that in the past she’s been wrong but this time she’s right.

According to reports, Lanez, 30, faces three felony charges — assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence — for allegedly shooting the 27-year-old.
