Update: Big Scarr’s Cause Of Death Revealed, Rapper Died From Accidental Drug OD [CONDOLENCES]
Update: (Dec. 23, 2022): The cause of Big Scarr’s death has been revealed.
According to reports, the 22-year-old rapper died as a result of a fatal prescription pain med overdose. The rapper, who was signed to Gucci Mane’s label, overdosed Thursday (Dec. 22) on prescription pills at his girlfriend’s house in Memphis, Tennessee.
Big Scarr’s uncle, Arthur Woods, says he did not know when his nephew got the meds. However, according to Woods, Big Scarr faced several traumatic experiences in his life, including being shot and suffering from a serious car accident injury.

According to reports, up-and-coming rapper Big Scarr, real name Alexander Woods, has died.
Law enforcement sources reportedly confirmed Big Scarr was pronounced dead on Thursday (Dec. 22). The case is an ongoing death investigation, however, at this moment, there are no signs of foul play.

As you may already know, Big Scarr was a member of Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records. Prior to his untimely death, he collaborated with a couple of famed rappers such as Offset and Pooh Shiesty. He’s most known for his hit song “SolcyBozy,” which features Shiesty, Foogiano, and Tay Keith. The video currently has 24 million views on YouTube.
Big Scarr’s debut mixtape, “Big Grim Reaper,” was released on April 16 of last year and it reached the top 25 on the Billboard charts. He was recently featured on the 2022 XXL Freshman List.
Gucci Mane shared an IG post relating to Scarr’s death. Under pictures of the late rapper, the caption reads:
“This hurt. I’m a miss you.”

Fans have flooded the comment sections of Scarr’s social media accounts with their condolences as they react to the tragic news.
