Snoop Dogg Says He Helped A Company Earn A $100M Valuation By Promoting Them On Instagram: I Didn’t Have The Game To Get A Piece of The Pie
Snoop Dogg (real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr.) no longer doubts the influence both he and Instagram has.
During an appearance on the 85 South Comedy Show, the Death Row Records owner shared that he learned how powerful his influence truly is when he helped a company achieve $100 million in valuation by simply publishing them on his Instagram profile.
Snoop Dogg said,
“Look at this sh*t, I can just post anything. Then I say, ‘Oh wait a minute. I can just post some sh*t I’m selling or some sh*t I want you to show up to, or some sh*t I’m promoting or a positive message, or some sh*t I’m trying to get off.’ Then, I started thinking like a businessman.”
He added,
“Then the n****s from Instagram do an interview and say, ‘Hey man, our company was regular until one celebrity got behind it, and then we became a $100 million company. That celebrity was Snoop Dogg.'”
Unfortunately, the “Gin and Juice” rapper claimed he wasn’t compensated for the endorsement but has subsequently realized his error.
He said,
“I didn’t have the game to get a piece of the pie … Now we know better. You know better, you do better. So, moving forward to the brothers and sisters out there watching, when you [are] valuable, know your value. Ask for equity. Ask for a piece of the pie. Don’t just take that little snap back that they want to throw you up front. You want a piece of the pie to make sure that you get a piece of it after it continues to grow. If you grew a brand, you should be a part of the brand.”
Despite the amateur mistake, Snoop Dogg has established himself as a successful businessman, earning several endorsements and brand deals. This list includes his “Snoop Loopz” cereal, which he and Master P were forced to rebrand because of what they called a “scared” attempt from unnamed competitors to hinder their growth and have their product pulled from shelves.

And in other news, Tha Doggfather has seemingly met his match when it comes to smoking weed and it’s not who you’d expect (or maybe it is). The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper is known to be a marijuana lover, and he apparently reached his highest peak (literally) while partying with Willie Nelson. He shared,
“We was in Amsterdam on 4/20, and he was doing a concert out there.”

Snoop continued,
“So, we went back to his hotel room, and we was playing dominoes. Me and him were playing dominoes one-on-one. He whooping my a**, and I’m just getting higher and higher and higher. He just keep passing it to me, and I’m like, ‘This old m*therf*cker outsmoking me.'”
The legendary rapper also previously shut down claims that he smokes up to 150 blunts a day.
He said,
“B*tch said I smoke…b*tch, this is all in a day’s work. Stop lying.”
Snoop added,
“F*ck I’ma smoke all that weed in one day? What am I, a fuckin’ machine? B*tch, this is the roaches. See…roaches.”
He captioned the post,
“Stop lying”
