Film Producer Will Packer Speaks On Dropped Sexual Abuse Lawsuit Tiffany Haddish Faced, Says He Can’t Make A ‘Girls Trip’ Sequel Without The Comedian
It looks like Will Packer is advocating for Tiffany Haddish to be in ‘Girls Trip 2.’
During a recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, Will Packer spoke about a potential ‘Girls Trip‘ sequel and how Tiffany Haddish plays an integral part in the franchise.
When asked if he would advocate for her to be in the sequel despite her latest controversy, Packer said,
“I do, I certainly hope so. I think that, you know, we are in a time period where there’s not a lot of nuance, right, it’s just black and white, and the reality is that we live in a gray world.”
“She’s very talented obviously, very remorseful. [She] has come out and apologized and so I certainly hope so, and I certainly would advocate for her. You know ‘Girls Trip 2,’ I can’t make it without her.”

Tiffany Haddish was considered the breakout star of ‘Girls Trip.’ The fictional film follows a group of four friends as they go to New Orleans to attend the Essence Music Festival in order to reconnect after a long time. It also stars Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
As previously reported, Tiffany Haddish and fellow comedian Aries Spears were sued on August 30 for allegedly grooming a 14-year-old girl and her seven-year-old brother, coercing them to record inappropriate sexual skits. The siblings, who are referred to as Jane Doe and John Doe, alleged they are traumatized for life and the young boy said both defendants molested him. The older sister claimed Haddish taught her how to imitate fellatio on a sandwich for the skit. The lawsuit also claimed that her younger brother was molested by Spears while filming a “Funny or Die” video titled “Through A Pedophile’s Eyes.”

The siblings who filed the sexual abuse lawsuit dropped the civil action on September 20 after stating the family has “put this behind us.” Jane Doe, who represented herself in the federal civil case, filed a notice of dismissal with prejudice, so the suit can’t be re-filed. The filing included a statement from the plaintiff reading,
“My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us. We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”
In September, the comedian/actress spoke about her alleged victims dropping their lawsuit. While it appears the dropped suit would help the “Girls Trip” actress clear her name, Tiffany Haddish claimed she’s lost everything following the public accusations. She said,
“I lost everything. All my gigs, gone. Everything, gone. Idk bro. I don’t have no job. I don’t have no job bro.”
