Letitia Wright Says She’s ‘Manifesting’ Part 3 Of The ‘Black Panther’ Franchise: ‘I Think It’s Already In The Works’

Exciting news for “Black Panther” fans!

During a recent red-carpet interview, movie star Letitia Wright shared that she’s anticipating a third chapter to the “Black Panther” story. When asked if “Black Panther 3” has received the green light yet, Letitia Wright shared:

“I think it’s already in the works.”

The 29-year-old actress continued:

“You know, we just had a terrific two years of bringing [Black Panther 2] out and everybody coming together to support it. We need a little bit of a break, we need to regroup and Ryan needs to get back into the lab, so it’s going to take a little while, but we’re really excited for you guys to see that.”

After being asked if the third installment of the popular Marvel project was “for sure happening,” the Guyanese native said:

“I always try to do positive words and positive thinking, and I believe that good words manifest, so I’m manifesting a ‘Black Panther 3,’ why not?”

As you may know, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” held the No. 1 spot in North America for five consecutive weeks following its release on November 11, 2022. According to reports, the film has grossed over $831 million worldwide, becoming the sixth highest-grossing movie of 2022. In addition to that great achievement, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” was the third film in 2022 to cross the $400 million mark domestically.

The popular sequel highlights the obstacles the fictional nation of Wakanda faced following the death of King T’Challa, played by the late actor Chadwick Boseman.

Boseman died at 43 on August 28, 2020, after a four-year silent battle with colon cancer. Director Ryan Coogler previously reflected on the moments he shared with the late actor. He said:

“I was poring over a lot of our conversations that we had, towards what I realized was the end of his life.”

The California native continued and shared that it was a tough decision, but he decided to move forward with “Black Panther 2” after Boseman’s death

“I decided that it made more sense to keep going.”
