Larsa Pippen Seemingly Shades Ex-Husband Scottie Pippen While Going Instagram Official w/ Rumored Boyfriend Marcus Jordan

The cat is officially out of the Instagram bag!

Former NBA wife Larsa Pippen posted a cozy pic with Michael Jordan’s 32-year-old son Marcus Jordan, following months of reports that the two are dating. The 48-year-old divorcee additionally seemed to take a jab at her basketball-legend ex with the photo reveal.

Larsa posted the photo of her hands interlocked with Marcus yesterday (January 24th), to her Instagram page. The suspected new couple posed in front of a replica of Michael Jordan’s famous Chicago Bulls jersey, seemingly made out of red and white roses. As a caption to the post, Larsa wrote:

“Checks over stripes”

Marcus also reposted the pic to his Instagram story with the Travis Scott and Drake record “Sicko Mode” playing in the background. Along with Larsa’s caption, he added:

“Lost my respect, you not a threat”

It seems some have concluded that featuring Jordan’s jersey in the pic was a dig at her ex Scottie Pippen, seeing as the two former teammates aren’t on the best of terms. Since their playing days, the former Chicago Bulls star has continuously scrutinized Jordan for not being a true team player.

Things worsened following the premiere of the 2020 ESPN docu-series “The Last Dance,” which was supposed to tell the story of the 1997-1998 Chicago Bulls championship basketball team. However, the series was heavily focused around a polarizing Jordan, who amassed superstardom at the height of his career. The NBA champion is widely recognized as one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

Speaking on his frustrations with the project in his 2021 memoir “Unguarded,” Pippen reportedly stated:

“Even in the second episode, which focused for a while on my difficult upbringing and unlikely path to the NBA, the narrative returned to MJ and his determination to win,”

He continued:

“I was nothing more than a prop. [His] best teammate of all time…He couldn’t have been more condescending if he tried.”

Back in December, Larsa was reportedly denied being romantically involved with Marcus, adding she doesn’t care what her ex thinks. However, with the new couple pic, on top of being spotted kissing earlier this month, it seems Larsa and Marcus are ready to face the world.
