Reportedly, early Wednesday (Mar. 1) morning, while appearing as a guest performer at a Don Toliver show in NYC, rapper Travis Scott allegedly struck a man in the face and caused $12,000 worth of damage to equipment.
Cops responded to an alleged verbal altercation that eventually turned physical between Travis Scott and the sound engineer. Before fleeing the nightclub, the 30-year-old also allegedly damaged a video screen and speaker.
Reports claim that following the incident, the alleged victim did not complain of pain or have any visible injuries.
According to insiders, the rapper showed up to the establishment already in a bad mood. A witness reportedly shared that after the sound engineer lowered the volume on the speakers, Travis walked over to him “yelling aggressively in his face” and then he hit the man “right across the face.”
Reportedly, authorities in New York City are now looking for Travis Scott.

Scott, born Jacques Bermon Webster II, has been tied up in a few scandals over the past few years. However, his most infamous one to date was his 2021 Astroworld Festival, which took place in his hometown of Houston. As you may recall, the event turned tragic and left 10 people dead after a rampage occurred. Scott, who shares two children with ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner, had 400 lawsuits filed against him, Live Nation, and other staff involved in the concert. The suits were eventually combined into one civil case representing up to 2,800 victims.
