Chris Rock Claims Will Smith’s Anger Was Due To Jada Pinkett Smith’s Entanglement Drama: ‘She Was F***king Her Son’s Friend!’
Well, Chris Rock finally took a moment to fully address last year’s awards show debacle and even threw in a little more.
The comedian completely unleashed on Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith during his recent Netflix comedy special, clowning the pair over the Oscars mishap and their public “entanglement” scandal.

Chris Rock has been relatively short discussing the infamous Oscars incident where fellow actor, and Oscar Award winner Will Smith, physically hit him on stage. If you recall, the volatile moment arrived following an ill-timed joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaving her head bald due to the effects of alopecia.
However, the “Grown Ups” star didn’t hold back while blasting the two on his latest stand-up show. During the performance, which aired live on Saturday (March 4th), Chris Rock slammed Will Smith, accusing the “King Richard” star of taking the aggression he had for his wife’s affair out on him.

Reportedly, Rock spoke about the 2020 bombshell moment R&B singer August Alsina confirmed his romantic relationship with Jada. Which subsequently, prompted Will and Jada to discuss the matter in an interview of their own. Rock joked about the situation:
“His wife was f***ing her son’s friend ok. I normally would not talk about this….but for some reason these n*ggas put it on the internet…We’ve all been cheated on…none of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television.”

Adding:
“She hurt him way more than he hurt me.”
The celebrity comic also directly addressed being hurt by his colleague at the 2022 Oscars. Rock joked about the slap:
‘You all know what happened to me, getting slapped by Suge Smith. Everybody knows, everybody f****** knows…people are like “Did it hurt?” It still hurts. I got Summertime ringing in my ear f***** drums.”

He continued:
“But Will Smith practices selective outrage because everyone that knows what happened, everybody that really knows, knows I had nothing to do with that s***. I didn’t have any entanglements.”
Since last year’s awards show, Smith has issued several public apologies and was banned from participating in the ceremony for the next 9 years, a total of 10. The veteran entertainer was spotted out accepting his first in-person award since the Oscars slap earlier this month.
Overall, Rock’s special has gotten mixed reviews online. While some hailed the TV and film star for thrashing Smith and his wife’s actions. Others, however, seem to feel the 7-minute roast was unhealthy on Rock’s end.
