Mike Epps Possibly Facing Charges & Under Investigation For Loaded Gun Seized At Airport
Mike Epps may not be laughing for a while.
According to reports, stand-up comedian Mike Epps, 52, could be in trouble with law enforcement in his hometown after airport authorities found a loaded weapon in one of his bags.
Police were called to Indianapolis airport on Sunday (Mar. 5) after Mike Epps, real name Michael Epps, proceeded to go through a checkpoint with a loaded firearm. According to the entertainer, he forgot the firearm was in his bag. Police reportedly found a .38 Special Airweight loaded with four rounds, however, none was in the chamber.
The weapon and ammo were confiscated as evidence and the “Friday After Next” actor wasn’t arrested. The police report was sent to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office where they’ll decide if charges should be filed against Epps.
