Tekashi 6ix9ine – Three Men Charged With Robbery & Assault After Jumping The Rapper Inside Florida Gym

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s picked up three men in connection to ambushing Tekashi 6ix9ine last week.

On Thursday (Mar. 30) suspects Rafael Medina Jr., 43, Anthony Maldonado, 25, and Octavious Medina, 23 — were arrested for brutally beating down 6ix9ine inside of the sauna at his local Florida gym on Mar. 21.

The now-viral attack left the Brooklyn drill rapper with a bloody face, bruises, fractured ribs, and a blood clot in his eye. The trio was reportedly charged with robbery and assault.

6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, 26, had yet to address the incident, however, there’s speculation on his “snitch” reputation being the cause of his beat down. As previously reported, the controversial artist has no intentions on moving or hiring more security for his safety. An insider shared:

“He’s actually been going out in public without his hired muscle pretty regularly over the last year — without issue.”

The insider added:

“…he’s not about to let one incident change the way he lives. He wants to continue to live as normal a life as possible … and is chalking up the gym beatdown as an outlier.”

As previously reported, 6ix9ine and associates were arrested in November 2018 on federal RICO and firearm charges, including conspiracy to murder and armed robbery. The “Gummo” rapper pleaded guilty to nine charges a year later and faced up to 47 years in prison. However, to avoid that lengthy sentence, he took a plea deal in exchange for his testimony against his fellow gang members. 6ix9ine reportedly cooperated with law enforcement and was granted a two-year sentence, which he already served after spending 13 months incarcerated, for going against the Nine Trey Gang.
