Travis Scott Settles Dispute w/ Sound Engineer Over Alleged Assault & Causing $12K In Equipment Damages
Travis Scott has reportedly settled his dispute where he allegedly damaged equipment and assaulted a sound engineer.
According to reports, sources close to the incident said that rapper Travis Scott has resolved his dispute with the owners of Nebula nightclub in New York City as well as the sound engineer he allegedly attacked on March 1. However, it is unclear how much the “SICKO MODE” artist had to pay up in terms of the alleged settlement.

As previously reported, NYPD responded to a call alleging Travis Scott punched a sound engineer in the face before destroying up to $12,000 in video and speaker equipment after a minor disagreement. Following the incident, the sound engineer, only identified as Mark, spoke out against the artist from a New Jersey hospital.

The engineer explained his side of things and said,
“I was trying to tell him to lower it [the volume] so it sounded good for the performance. He just stuck his middle finger in my face so I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me.”
Detailing the injuries he received, Mark continued,
“Obviously my neck is f*ck*d up. My arm is tingly I have pins and needles going down it.”
Mark added,
“People who are trying to help you sound the best you could, there were fans there trying to take pictures. You were throwing their phones. These are people who respect you. Maybe you should calm down.”
It’s also alleged that Travis Scott, 31, threw a fan’s phone during his set at the club minutes before the alleged assault.
While the Houston native may have been able to settle his dispute, the criminal investigation is still ongoing, reports state. An NYPD spokesperson claimed,
“This remains an active investigation.”
However, another law enforcement source reportedly said the alleged victim stopped cooperating, which could affect the case going forward.
