Madonna Undergoing Procedure To “Look More Like Herself” Following Continuous Ridicule About Plastic Surgery, Sources Say

Super star singer Madonna may be getting her old thang back, and that thang being her face.

According to reports, a source close to the pop Icon claims Madonna is pursing a cosmetic procedure to restore more of her natural facial features.

Reportedly, the decision was prompted by criticism Madonna received following this year’s Grammy’s. The reports notes that a wave of online online critics flooded the musician’s social media comments  with many fans expressing disappointment over the singer’s apparent altered face. So much so, that the 64-year-old opted to respond, writing:

“Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim- Many people chose to only talk about Close-up photos of me Taken with a long lens camera By a press photographer that Would distort anyone’s face!! Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in.”

And adding:

“I have never apologized for any of the creative choices I have made nor the way that I look or dress and I’m not going to start. I have been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come.

The report additionally states that despite Madonna’s stern opposition to critics, the comments do get to her. A source reportedly stated about the situation:

“Despite what people think, the criticism over her drastically different appearance does affect her…She sees and hears what people say about her and, for the tour, she wants to look more like herself again for her fans,” 

It’s reported the “Material Girl” songstress wants to undergo the procedure, to look more like her natural face before her performing on her coming world tour. The concert series titled The Celebration Tour is set to kick off in July and will rap up at the beginning of next year.

It does not seem that Madonna has publicly commented about the reports at this time.
